Dupioni Silk stretched on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

I use this silk because it has great sheen while the “slubs” in the weave give it texture. The machine pieced patchwork is done with precision to achieve a completely flat and graphic surface. This work is stretched over a purchased gallery wrapped canvas and meant to hang flush with the wall. They are lightweight so are easy to install.

Banners

The banners are “echo stitched” (lines of stitching that echo the pieced design) and are prepared for hanging vertically. If necessary, they could be prepared to hang horizontally, depending on the location.

Framed Artwork

These silk works are hand appliqued, beaded, matted and framed.
